Framed Vintage Scarves

We seek out, restore and mount vintage scarves for hanging on the wall.
The technique of mounting these beautiful items is skilled work, each scarf is sewn by hand on to a silk backing which is stretched on a wooden frame and finished with a perspex box this is all done to museum standard.
They are a stunning addition to any house or business interior. Our collection is wide and varied from detailed prints, floral or delicate to bold and Warhol-esk prints with vivid colour and exciting images.
Details on the images above:
In 1950 the House of Dior licensed the manufacture of luxury accessories, including beautiful Silk Twill head scarves designed under head designer Marc Bohan. We currently have two of these 1970s Christian Dior scarves mounted on silk and framed in perspex boxes. One is a stylized flower reminiscent of a Georgia O’Keefe painting, the other a floating floral design. Vintage luxury with a modern twist!
